Spec Sheet 01 • Mission: On-Site Repair
Your Car Won't Start In The Barracks Lot. We Come To It.
Mobile diagnostics, brakes, batteries, starters, and pre-purchase inspections at your gate lot, apartment spot, or driveway around Fort Cavazos, Harker Heights, and Copperas Cove. Quote before we turn a wrench. No shop drop-off, no duty-day scramble to find a ride.
Situation Brief
Built For A Barracks Lot, Not A Waiting Room
Killeen runs on Fort Cavazos's schedule (renamed from Fort Hood in 2023). A big share of the cars parked outside the barracks, at Comanche III housing, or in a Harker Heights apartment lot are older, high-mileage vehicles bought on a private's budget and passed between soldiers for years. Getting one of those cars to a shop bay means a duty-day approved by a squad leader, a ride from a battle buddy, and a day without a vehicle in a town where the nearest grocery store is a real drive. We built this business to skip that step. You tell us where you're parked, we bring the scan tool, the jack, and the parts truck to you.
Summer PCS season stacks the same problem on top of itself. Soldiers moving in or out on orders need a vehicle checked fast, whether it's a used car they're about to buy off Facebook Marketplace before a cross-country drive, or a car that's been sitting in a barracks lot for a nine-month deployment and won't turn over. We work both ends of that: pre-purchase checks before you sign, and on-site repair for the car you already own.

Spec Sheet 02 • Roll-Out Radius
We Roll To Your Gate Lot
Fort Cavazos runs fifteen gates in and out of post, and a lot of them keep different hours. If you're staying on post housing or your car's parked near one of the main entrances, here's what we work around most:
We don't drive on post ourselves. If your car's on post, we meet you at your unit's designated visitor lot or the nearest off-post spot to the gate you use. Off post, we cover the streets soldiers and families actually live and shop on: WS Young Drive, Stan Schlueter Loop, Trimmier Road, Rancier Avenue in Killeen, FM 2410 and US 190 through Harker Heights, and Business 190 through Copperas Cove.
On A Duty Day? Tell Us Your Window.
Give us your report time and we'll work around it. Most on-site jobs finish inside a lunch break.
FAQ
Questions We Get At The Gate
Do you work inside Fort Cavazos housing or the barracks?
We can't drive onto post ourselves without a DoD sticker or an escort, so we meet you at a visitor lot, your on-post housing curb if you can sponsor us through the gate, or an off-post spot close by. Tell us which gate you use and we'll figure out the fastest meeting point.
What if I don't know what's wrong with my car?
That's what the diagnostic visit is for. We hook up a scan tool, read the codes, check the live data, and tell you in plain language what's actually failing before you spend a dime on a guess.
Can you check a car before I buy it off Facebook Marketplace or from a dealer lot?
Yes. Our pre-purchase inspection is built for exactly that, especially during PCS season when you need an answer before the seller finds another buyer. See our pre-purchase inspection page for what's covered.
Do you take walk-ups or is everything scheduled?
Same-day slots open up most weekdays. Call and tell us where you're parked; if we've got a gap near you, we'll say so on the phone instead of making you wait for a callback.
What don't you do?
We're closed Sundays, and we don't handle transmission overhauls, engine swaps, or anything that needs a lift. If a job needs a shop bay, we'll tell you straight instead of taking your money for a job we can't finish.

Tell Us Where You're Parked
We cover Killeen, Harker Heights, Copperas Cove, and the Temple edge. Outside that ring, say so in the notes and we'll tell you straight if we can make it work.
Phone is the only required field. We call back, we don't email-chain you.
